Our Local General Election Candidates

Bury St Edmunds constituency - Helen Geake

Helen GeakeI’ve been an archaeologist for most of my working life, and also spent six years working for the television programme Time Team.

Central Suffolk & North Ipswich - Regan Scott

Regan Scott

I retired to Suffolk six years ago after a career as an economist and journalist, including as a national official for a major trade union.
Increasingly concerned about environmental and climate issues, I am a member of Friends of the Earth, Suffolk Wildlife Trust and RSPB, and campaign against nuclear development, having worked in Europe on disarmament and employment.
I believe other political parties have undermined local communities, that the NHS should be properly funded, and that Europe's social, environmental, and human standards need to be actively defended after Brexit.
