Candidate for Central Suffolk & North Ipswich, Regan Scott, will in the final days be visiting the villages and small towns that serve the deeply rural heart of Suffolk which makes up most of his constituency.
The tour will however begin in the busy retail centre of Meredith Road, focal point of North Ipswich, where he will meet shoppers together with members of Ipswich Green Party.
Regan commented on the campaign so far:
“The Green Party messages have been well received at the hustings I have attended so far, and I will continue to raise the local and global environmental issues that the other parties neglect. Listening to voters, the broad band in many rural areas is not being improved quickly enough, while many gaps remain in mobile phone coverage. This allied with post office closures and the skeletal and expensive bus services makes twenty-first century rural life a struggle for many. Overdevelopment is leading to a sub-urbanisation of Suffolk, without either physical or social infrastructure - it's why a Green voice is vital."
