District Councillor for Elmswell & Woolpit Ward

First elected in May 2011 representing the Elmswell and Norton Ward. Re-elected 2015.  Re-elected in May 2019 representing the new Ward of Elmswell and Woolpit. Re-elected again in May 2023, alongside Jen Overett.

  • Sarah sits on the Planning Committee at the council
  • She is the group representative on the Community Infrastructure Levy working party and the governance review panel.
  • Sarah has been a member of a development control committee since 2011 and was also a member of the Joint Housing Board from 2015 to 2018.
  • Sarah is a qualified teacher, but currently works as an assessment specialist for an exam board.  This involves both the production and marking of exams.
  • Sarah is passionate about sustainable travel and is a keen cyclist.
  • She has lived in Elmswell with her family since 1996.
