Tim Weller

Tim was first elected in May 2023 representing the Palgrave Ward

He is the Cabinet member for Environment, Wellbeing and Culture at Mid Suffolk District Council.

Tim sits as Mid Suffolk's Member representative on Suffolk Health & Wellbeing Board and Safer, Stronger Communities Board.

Tim is a non-practicing barrister and registered social worker. With a background in civil service and local government he has predominently worked in the statutory adult health and social care sector. He is employed by Norfolk County Council and NHS Norfolk & Waveney Integrated Care Board.

Tim moved to Suffolk from London in 2013 and is a Parish Councillor in Occold where he lives with his rescue Collie, Sprout. Tim enjoys long dogwalks, gardening and volunteers as an Independent Monitoring Board member at HMP Highpoint. He is a member of the Suffolk Wildlife Trust, English Speaking Union and RSPB.
