Green councillors working with other opposition parties call-in school transport cuts. Defeated, with the Conservative-majority Scrutiny Committee voting to push forward a policy change that will see thousands of children across Suffolk lose their free school transport.

The Green Group are not opposed to the principle of a merger but believe that the inevitable debate is a distraction when the shared organisation is still recovering from major staff losses following the move to Ipswich, as well as the strategic failure of lacking a five year housing land supply.
