County Councillor for Stowmarket North and Stowupland Division

First elected in 2015 representing Stowupland and Creeting St Peter Ward. Re-elected in May 2019 representing the new Ward of Haughley, Stowupland and Wetherden (including Old Newton & Dagworth with Gipping). Retired from District council roles, with Janet Pearson winning to stand alongside Rachel Eburne in the May 2023 elections.

First elected as County Councillor in 2021 representing Stowmarket North Division.

  • He is a Mid Suffolk representative on the Suffolk Police and Crime Panel and the East Suffolk Internal Drainage Board.
  • Keith retired in 2010 after 40 years working in highway engineering, traffic management, road safety and school travel planning.
  • He has been a member of Stowupland Parish Council for nearly 20 years and has served two terms as Chairman and is a Good Neighbour volunteer.
  • He was born in Stowupland and attended schools in Stowupland and Stowmarket.
  • Keith is a keen advocate of Public Transport, maintenance of our Public Right of Way network and improvement of pedestrian and cycle routes.
  • He is working to ensure that providing open space and local leisure facilities keep pace with the rapid growth of housing locally and is keen to secure sustainable and affordable housing for local people, including provision for first time renters and buyers and smaller properties for residents wishing to downsize.
