First elected in February 2022, and then again in May 2023 alongside David Bradbury as a District Councillor representing Thurston Ward.

  • Austin grew up on a hill farm in Wales. His career in agricultural development has taken him all over the world, including several years working in the Falkland Islands.
  • He’s a keen gardener, walker and cyclist. “I love living in Thurston and I am excited about representing this area – it’s a very special part of Suffolk and needs to be protected from further development.”
