First elected in May 2019 until May 2023 representing the ward of Elmswell and Woolpit, before handing over the reigns to Jen Overett.

  • She is an archaeologist, holds a doctorate, and has spent much of her career with the Portable Antiquities Scheme, which records archaeological objects found by members of the public
  • Helen also spent six years as part of Channel 4’s Time Team and is now part of the revived Time Team series.
  • Helen is keenly interested in politics at the national level, especially macro-economics, housing policy, and social security safety nets.
  • She has stood for Parliament three times, and in 2019 achieved the fourth best Green result in the country.
  • She is a Parish Councillor for Woolpit.
